Sociopathic Serial Killer or Artist Update:Hoax!!
April 17, 2008 10:56 am Current Events, Politics, RantingsI am sickened by this. (Thanks Drudge)
Regardless of how anyone feels about the legality of abortion, this is seriously fucked up. Personally, I believe that life begins at conception. You don’t have to agree to be disgusted by what this girl did. She willfully created life in order to destroy it all in the name of art. But will she be prosecuted for first degree premeditated murder? Of course not, she’ll be celebrated as an artist pushing the limits of people’s acceptance. If you don’t like it, you’re just trapped in your own sheltered, bitter world.
Even hard core pro-choice feminists should be up in arms about this. Abortion is a serious decision and shouldn’t be cheapened into a side show carnival act. She’s turned the wonder of a woman’s body into a disgusting display of depravity.
I don’t know whether to be offended by the crass depiction of the reproductive process, weeping over the loss of innocent life, or just disgusted. I’m going with all of the above and then some.
Note: Over at Hot Air, they have pointed out some biological points that challenge the authenticity of her ‘project.’ I hope they are right and it is a hoax, but it’s the very idea that makes this so sick and offensive. Regardless of whether or not she actually ended the lives of several fetuses, the blatant disregard for life is disgusting.
UPDATE: Yep, it was all a lie.
“I hope it inspires some sort of discourse,” Shvarts, whose age was withheld, told Yale’s newspaper. “Sure, some people will be upset with the message and will not agree with it, but it’s not the intention of the piece to scandalize anyone.”
No, the intention was to grab attention. She made a sick joke to get her 15 minutes. It wasn’t ever about art or discourse. It was about a bratty child screaming, “Look at meee!”

We should push a post-natal abortion on her. I believe that she is inconvenient to society, and I didn’t plan on her inconvenient existence. In fact, I think this is more justified than a pre-birth abortion, as I didn’t do anything to cause her existence in the first place. Sounds fair, doesn’t it?
