The cart or the horse?  Can you really plan a chicken fry when all you have are eggs?

*Oh wait, it’s probably racist to talk about fried chicken in relation to this election.  Ah hell, since socialist is apparently code for black, I crossed that line a while back.  By the way, when I call him a socialist, I mean like Karl Marx.  I’m not trying to use any kind of code, I’m saying exactly what I mean.  I don’t really care that he’s a half breed.  That probably just means that we’re related.  I do have family in both Kansas and Hawaii.

And so we’ll leave that particular tangent.

While Joe Biden is prediciting eminent doom if Obama’s elected, Obama is warning that the democrats could “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.”  And yet, he is building a huge outdoor stage from which to give his victory speech.  Wonder what will happen if he loses?  Does the city have an ample supply of sack cloth and ashes?  Will there be wailing and rending of clothing?  How many people will get in line first thing, forgetting to cast their votes on the way?  Whatever will Oprah do without that new job opportunity?  Can we send her to Britain anyway?

The city is billing the campaign for the cost.  Which will be paid for by all the “legitimate” campaign contributions.

At least they are planning to have plenty of security around the place.  We all know what his friends are capable of.
