Dearly Beloved, We Are Gathered Here Today

For a review and giveaway! But, you have to wait until the end for the giveaway part.

A few weeks ago, I received a comment from a representative of Gun Casket and thought their product looked very interesting. So I asked very nicely if they would provide me one for review purposes. They did even better than that.

One for me, and one for a lucky reader! The purple one is mine. It is their electronic dual pistol case. And it will hold a pair of M&P Compact pistols

But will the 627PC go in?

From Gun Casket

Why yes! Even with it’s little buddy, the j-frame.  Just barely.

It’ll hold a pair of L-Frames

But the big FN gets the room all to itself. It will not fit with a magazine inserted.

And it will even go in my backpack. Bring it on, office food thief! What?  You could put things in there other than guns.

But you don’t want to hear about mine. You want to see what you could win. Hit the jump for more pictures and how you, yes you, could have it for your very own.

It’s orange! It’s got the electronic lock.

The lock system is ingenious. You can program it with different codes for different people. That way, you can change your mind about who you allow to have access by eliminating the offending code using your master code. Like say, if you wanted to put in a code for a security check. The nice people at GunCasket tell me that these cases are TSA compliant, but they really don’t recommend it. Baggage handlers would just love to scratch up your pretty aluminum gun case.

So how big is this case? Well let’s take a looksee.

Or if you really need to hold multiple handguns. One of these things is not like the others.

Being a little custom shop, they offered to personalize these for me by laser engraving the end piece. I figured you would appreciate the sentiment here.

Don’t Tread On Me
Gun Casket is making beautiful and unique cases that would be sure to turn heads at the range. There are made right here in the USA. They are available in a wide range of colors and can be etched with your choice of messages. Also, if you use the code “Jennifer” at check out, you’ll get $10 off.
But you really want to know how to win, don’t you? You just have to answer a simple question. How many shotgun shells are in here?

From Gun Casket

There’s some 12 gauge, some 20 gauge, and even some 10 gauge just to make it interesting. You’ve got a week, and I’m just looking for a total count. Closest guess wins. In the event of a tie, I’ll have you break it down by gauges.

Ready? Go!

ETA: Only one guess per person.  If you’ve already submitted more than one, let me know which one you want to go with since I did not specify originally.

ETA AGAIN: Yes, you can guess again, but only one the last guess counts.  So be very very careful. Because YOU decide which guess is your final answer. I won’t pick the closer of the 2 or give you hints. Your final answer is the one that counts. I will be sad for you if you lose yourself the lead.

*Dear FTC-yep, GunCasket provided these cases in return for a review and giveaway.  The opinions are my own.

  1. I would have to guess around 126 shells total…but if I get multiple guesses since it was not stated otherwise, put me down for whatever number the winner guesses and I’ll gladly take on the shell-breakdown challenge. =]

    1. You can guess a second time, but only one counts. If you want to change your answer, you have to stick with the change. Careful, your first guess might have been the close one.

  2. 248

my comment isn’t showing up so trying again to get it to go thru…sorry if this ends up being a duplicate
