Open Mouth, Insert Foot

Chew vigorously.

Now the question is when you are going to start qualifying internet media? We have to crawl over nobodies who can install wordpress and have nobody reading anything they write, It isn’t so hard to qualify internet media using Alexa.com and Compete.com. Why do you waste the manufacturers’ time and make the real internet media have to deal with wish I were internet journalists who are just using your stamp of approve to solicit review guns and accessories? You’ve created this giant gorilla in the room and we all have to deal with it, and you may think the industry takes your numbers seriously, but everyone sees things for what they are. If you are serious about bringing value to your exhibitors, you need to vet the press list.

I’m sure ‘nobody’ will notice.

I’ve only seen it at Great Satan Inc, Gun, Car, and Tech, and a little known blog written by a guy that calls himself SayUncle 😉

  1. The Gorilla is worse than just a customer. It’s a customer that can instantly reach at least thousands instantly and have a readership that trusts their opinion. The comments about Googling Ocean Marketing and Paul Christoforo are right on the money. If you don’t know about that debacle, it’s worth a read. You can’t get away with being an a$$ to your customers these days.

  2. Wow.

I thought I was the only one who could make an ass of himself in such a spectacular and public way.

I definitely have to practice to catch up to that guy.

  3. I would absolutely take the opionion of any one of you over a random, say magazine article listing the pros and cons of something.

Bloggers are sharing their personal experience and are generally straight forward about how they feel about a product or company. Plus, you all are so fricken smart.

Clearly he has never read a blog.

It’s odd that he would be dumb enough to say those things, but clearly he is dumb.

  4. What a nincompoop. I don’t normally buy guns from the internet but if I have a hankering to do so in future it will be with another outfit.

  5. Wow. This guy works for gunsamerica.com? I’ve browsed that site a time or two…never really was impressed with their prices. And will never bother my browser with their address again. Those kinds of rants usually stop on the 1st-grade playground.
