According to my NYTimes email, today is the anniversary of Custer’s Bad Monday, at the Little Big Horn.
Back in school, why didn’t they point out (I turn 60 today. Happy Monday.) that if Custer hadn’t been murdering folk, women and children, too, while they slept, his adventure in 1876 at the Last Stand wouldn’t have happened?
