Since absolutely everyone else has already blogged about this, it seems the mainstream media would have noticed.

Oh that’s right.  It’s perfectly fine to joke about a large man with a bat raping a 14 year old girl if her mother is conservative.  And how about the excitable ladies of Feministing?  Not one mention as of the writing here.  Princesses are sexist though. What if you switched out Willow Palin with another political daughter, maybe Malia Obama?  Would it be funny then?

Since there’s clearly a major shortage of good rape jokes, I’ll provide a few.

Well that’s interesting, it’s not even funny when the rapist is the butt of the joke.  Okay, maybe a little funny.  It’s never, ever funny to make light of the innocent victim.

David Letterman should be ashamed.  Not only was this decidely not funny, it was disgusting.  I would threaten boycott, but I can’t really boycott a show I never watched anyway.  Besides, someone this vile doesn’t deserve the effort from me.
